Alabama Independent Church Schools
Alabama Independent Church Schools, or The Alabama Independent Church School Association, is an association of home educators intended to disseminate accurate, and complete information to the homeschooling community, through the website, email list, message board, seminars, workshops, and discussions at activities. AICHA also provides support and assistance to new, small and other church schools, including information on getting started and administration, and helps to network church schools and individual homeschooling families for support and encouragement.
Christian Educators at Home in Anniston
The CHEAHA support group exists for the purpose of encouraging and unifying Christian home educating families through coordinating activities, communicating information and networking the home education coverings in and around the Anniston area.
Christian Home Education Fellowship of Alabama (CHEF)
CHEF of Alabama was founded to serve all home educators in Alabama by providing information, services, and resources from a Christian perspective to anyone who needs help in the area of home schooling.
Creative Play Workshop: Gentle Parenting at Play
This is an Attachment Parenting oriented group of parents who gather together with their children in the Birmingham area weekly. Workshops are fun, casual, parent-child interactive, and currently designed for toddlers through preschoolers, with younger siblings welcomed and arrangements that can be made to help older siblings feel at home, too.
East-Central AL Charlotte Mason Study Group
A Charlotte Mason Study Group for East-Central Alabama, whose members encourage and learn from each other during study of writings about the Charlotte Mason method.
Elmore County Homeschool Organization (ECHO)
The Elmore County Homeschool Organization (ECHO) is a support group for homeschooling families in the tri-county area (Elmore, Autauga, Montgomery) of Alabama. Offers meetings, practical support for parents, activities and playtime for children, monthly field trips, and more.
Gulf Coast Homeschool Support Group
